This painting was inspired by a vision I saw of the Lord standing on the threshold of coming in a greater glory over Cyprus. The position of the painting was taken from a vantage point at the ruins of Kantara Castle in the Northern region of Cyprus.

The painting is a depiction of the need to forgive in order to come out of a place of entrapment into freedom. Unforgiveness holds the bitter person needing revenge a prisoner. The blood of Abel cries out for revenge but the blood of Christ brings forgiveness and freedom through the power of the Holy Spirit.
